Sony unveils Xperia Tablet Z with Android 4.1

As was rumoured, Sony has now officially announced new Xperia Tablet Z today. The Xperia Tablet Z is claimed to be  6.5mm thickness, which makes it one of the thinnest tablets to be announced. Xperia Tablet Z features a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1200p pixel, It runs Android 4.1 OS and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.


The new Sony tablet have an 8-megapixel camera on its rear side, which is claimed to be the first backside-illuminated sensor Sony has put in a tablet.

The Xperia Tablet Z is comes with a feature  “S-Force Front Surround 3D” – that brings together movement and sound to achieve a sense of spaciousness. Tablets might not be the best way to click images, but still the Japanese manufacturer is touting the Xperia Tablet Z’s camera capabilities with features like automatic low-light mode. The new tablet also supports LTE and NFC. It will be available in two colours – black and white. and with a 6,000 mAh battery.
