Photobeamer: Photo Sharing App For Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8

Nokia has announced an exclusive Photo Sharing application just for smartphones running on Windows Phone 8, called Photobeamer. Photobeamer allows the users of Windows Phone 8 Lumia 920 and 820  to see the images in their device on a larger screen of the desktop even without connecting the two devices.


The application seems to function in a simple manner on the surface view. According to  Nokia conversations, after installing the application, you can use it to view your pictures. When you open an image, you will be requested to visit photobeamer.comvia any web browser.

You now have to aim your phone camera at the QR code that shows up in the website. All you need to do next is to just tap it when it appears on your camera screen. You can now see the magic unfold. All the pictures in the device are automatically sent to from where users can show the pictures to others on a bigger screen.

Photobeamer also facilitates fast sharing of your photos. Immediately after scanning, the images are transmitted to the site from the phone. This gives a faster performance. The pictures from the phone are streamed progressively to the website.
