RIM Launches BlackBerry Curve 9320

Rim announces BlackBerry Curve 9320 phone after the launch of cheapest BlackBerry phone, Curve 9220, in India. Curve 9320 has pretty much similar specification as of Curve 9220 but with some additional features.

The phone runs on the latest BlackBerry OS 7.1, comes pre-loaded with some social clients and has a dedicated BBM hardware key. The BlackBerry Curve has 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM. Phone has four-row QWERTY keyboard to make typing more easy. It has 2.44 inch QVGA display screen but not touch-screen. What much can you expect from a mid-range phone? Phone also has FM radio like Curve 9220.

The main difference in Curve 9220 and Curve 9320 is in Camera specs. The latest Curve 9320 has 3MP camera with LED flash while Curve 9220 has 2MP camera. Curve 9320 offers better connectivity options compared to 9220 – in addition to the quad-band GSM and Wi-Fi connectivity, you also get GPS with A-GPS and 3G with HSPA support. With the Mobile Hotspot feature on the BlackBerry Curve 9320 smartphone, you can share your Wi-Fi Hotspot with up to five devices at once. Phone’s battery back-up is pretty interesting, as it will long last up to 18 days on standby and 7 hours talk time.
