Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 (10.1) and GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0)

Samsung introduces tablets for 2012 with the launch of the GALAXY Tab 2 series, expanding the choice of tablets to customers. In this GALAXY Tab 2 series Samsung includes two versions as 7” version and a 10.1” version, these will be launched globally from Q2 2012.


The  Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 series will be available in both 3G and Wi-Fi versions, as well as in 7” and 10.1” variants. the GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0) is Light and portable, ideal personal on-the-go device: while the larger GALAXY Tab 2 (10.1) is well-suited for home and family use.

The design and looks of  Samsung GALAXY Tab 2 (10.1) and GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0) is little different  from the older GALAXY tabs, he screen is pretty impressive – viewing angles are very good, no hardware controls at the front, The two speakers are on either side of the port, the 3.5mm audio jack the SIM compartment and microSD slot are at the top of tablet.

The hardware of GALAXY Tab 2 is similar to old GALAXY Tab, the display of GALAXY Tab 2 (10.1) is 10.1” WXGA(1280×800) PLS TFT and GALAXY Tab 2 (7.0) 7” WSVGA(1024×600) PLS TFT,with1 GHz Dual-Core Processor with 1GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of flash memory plus a microSD slot supports 32 GB of memory and  runs on a Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich). On the back of tablet there is a 3.15 megapixel camera with a 0.3 megapixel camera on the front for video calling.


Both the GALAXY Tab 2 are available in 3G and WiFi versions, the 3G one supports HSPA+ download speeds of up to 21Mbps.and supports GPS. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is powered by a 7000 mAh Li-Ion battery and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is powered by a 4000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

Thanks for the post. It really helps me to decide which tab is fit for me and what is the best tab for android.
