HTC Ville – Thinnest Android Phone by HTC

Imagine a smartphone of only 8mm thin body with 8MP camera and Qualcomm dual-core processor. HTC is ready to deliver its thinnest smartphone ever, HTC Ville is only 8mm thick. Sony Ericsson is already in slimmest phone market and HTC is set to join this league. It is revolutionary and challenging precisely because HTC must meet challenge to make such thin design.

HTC Ville is going to be less than 8mm thick metallic body. Device will have HTC Sense 4.0 user interface with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The smartphone will have a 4.3 inch Super Amoled display with qHD 960 x 540 pixel resolution. It will pack Beats Audio too, like all recent high-end Androids from HTC. With the Android 4.0 ICS update, power management is expected to be better for its 1650 mAh battery.

Ville is slated to use Snapdragon’s new S4 chipsets with dual-core CPUs at 1.5GHz. Phone has an 8MP camera capable of 1080p full HD video recording to make the smartphone more interesting. A front facing camera for video calling over 3G and Wi-Fi is also visible in the above image of the HTC Ville.
