The New Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Android Smartphone

Sony Ericsson has recently launched their latest entrant in the popular Xperia range, called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray. Though Xperia Ray comes with a small 3.3-inch FWVGA (Full Wide Video Graphics Array) resolution screen, it makes for sharp clarity with 480 x 854 pixels. Ray also features Sony’s Bravia display technology for high colour intensity and contrast.Sporting a semi-circle home button in the middle, there are two touch sensitive keys below the display for back and shortcuts to menu.

Sony Ericsson’s unique integration of Facebook inside Xperia delivers a unique consumer experience for greater social interaction. In combination with the Google services, as well as access to over 200,000 Apps via the Android Market, it provides a solid and entertaining smartphone foundation.The phone’s camera performance with 8.1 megapixel shooter capable of HD video is pretty neat. You can snap a picture or shoot a video by just directly tapping on the screen. Ray also packs Sony’s Exmor R CMOS sensor and a single LED flash.

Sony Ericsson Xperia ray supports threaded views of SMS, an HTML browser, stereo FM Radio, GPS and Java support. Excellent battery life with talk time 6 hours 50 mins is provided by the Li-Ion 1500 mAh standard battery. On standby, it can last up to 430 hours while you can listen to music for 36 hours before you need to recharge.
